THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM (WAITING AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS) (THAMES ROAD, BARKING) AMENDMENT No. ORDER 202

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called “the Act”) and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:

  1. Introduce ‘No Waiting at any time’ restrictions at the following locations:

    a. Thames Road, north side, from a point 6.7 metres east of the western property boundary of No.9 Thames Road for 5 metres in an easterly direction.

    b. Thames Road, north side, from a point 67 metres west of the western kerbline of Gallions Close for 25 metres in a westerly direction.

    c. Thames Road, north side, from a point 21 metres east of the common boundary of Nos. 15a and 17 Thames Road for 10.3 metres in an easterly direction.

    d. Thames Road, south side, from a point 3 metres east of the western property boundary of No. 23a Thames Road for 57 metres in a westerly direction.

    e. Thames Road, south side, from a point 17.6 metres east of the boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road for 61 metres in an easterly direction.

    f. Thames Road, south side, from a point 46 metres east of its junction with Marine Drive for 11 metres in a westerly direction.

  2. Introduce ‘No loading at any time’ restrictions at the following locations:

    a. Thames Road, south side, from a point 24 metres east of its junction with River Road for 14 metres in an easterly direction.

    b. Thames Road, north side, from a point 35 metres east of Radford Way for 13 metres in an easterly direction

    c. Thames Road, north side, from a point 13 metres west of the common boundary of Nos.9 and 11 Thames Road for 11.8 metres in a westerly direction.

    d. Thames Road, north side, from a point 1metre east of the common boundary of Nos.9 and 11 Thames Road for 8.7 metres in an easterly direction.

    e. Thames Road, north side, from the western building line of No.15aThames Road for 1.5 metres in an easterly direction.

    f. Thames Road, north side, from a point 11.5 metres east of the western building line of No.15aThames Road for 2.5 metres in an easterly direction

    g. Thames Road, north side, from the common boundary of Nos. 15a and 17 Thames Road for 31.3 metres in an easterly direction.

    h. Thames Road, north side, from a point 12 metres east of the entrance to Riverside Industrial Estate to a point 36.5 west of the entrance to Riverside Industrial Estate.

    i. Thames Road, south side, from a point 4.8 metres west of the entrance to Riverside Industrial Estate for 10 metres in a westerly direction.

    j. Thames Road, south side, from a point 23.5 metres west of the entrance to Riverside Industrial Estate to a point 13.4 metres in a westerly direction.

    k. Thames Road, north side, from a point 34 metres east of the entrance to Riverside Industrial Estate to a point 143 metres east of Riverside Industrial Estate.

    l. Thames Road, south side, from a point 62.6 metres west of the eastern kerbline of Gallions Close for 38 metres in the southerly direction.

    m. Thames Road, south side, from a point 40 metres west to a point 17.5 metres east of its junction with Gallions Close.

    n. Gallions Close, both sides, from its junction with a Thames Road for 15 metres in a southerly direction.

    o. Thames Road, south side from a point 117 metres east of its junction with Gallions Close for 3.5 metres in an easterly direction.

    p. Thames Road, both sides, from a point 79.5 metres west of its junction with Marine Drive for 3.5 metres in a westerly direction.

    q. Thames Road, south side from a point 41 metres west to a point 46 metres east of its junction with Marine Drive.

    r. Thames Road, north side from a point 58 metres west to a point 34 metres east of its junction with Marine Drive.

    s. Twine Close, both sides, from its junction with Thames Road to a point 2 metres south of the northern building Line of No.1 Twine Close.

    t. Thames Road, north side, from a point 18.5 metres east to a point 9.7 metres west of its junction with Estuary Close.

    u. Estuary Close, both sides, from its junction with Thames Road for 15 metres in a northerly direction.

    v. Thames Road, both sides, from its junction with Renwick Road for 31.5 metres in a westerly direction.

    w. Renwick Road, west side, from its junction with Thames Road for 14 metres in a northerly direction.

    x. Thames Road, south side, from a point 3 metres east of the western property boundary of No. 23a Thames Road for 57 metres in a westerly direction.

    y. Thames Road, south side, from a point 17.6 metres east of the boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road for 61 metres in an easterly direction.

  3. Introduce ‘No Waiting at any time’ and ‘No Loading at any time’ restrictions at the following locations:

    a. Thames Road, south side, from a point 10.6 metres west of the building line of No.6 Thames Road for 0.9 metres in a westerly direction.

    b. Thames Road, south side, from a point 50.6 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Gallions Close for 12 metres in an easterly direction.

    c. Thames Road, north side, from a point 28.4 metres west of the western kerbline of Radford Way for 3 metres in a westerly direction.

    d. Thames Road, south side, from a point 6.7 metres east of the western building line of No.12 Thames Road for 7.7 metres in an easterly direction.

    e. Crossness Road, both sides, from its junction with Thames Road for a distance of 17 metres in a southerly direction.

    f. Thames Road, south side, from its junction with Crossness Road for 31 metres in a westerly direction.

    g. Thames Road, north side, from a point 77.9 metres east of the western building line of 25 Thames Road for 114.5 metres in an easterly direction.

  4. Introduce Unrestricted bays at the following locations on Thames Road:

    a. South side, from a point 10.6 metres west of the building line of No.6 Thames Road to a point 33 metres east of the building line of No.6 Thames Road.

    b. South side, from a appoint 4 metres west of the building line of No.8 Thames Road for 20 metres in a westerly direction.

    c. North side, from a point 8.6 metres west of the eastern boundary line of No. 15a Thames Road for 9.4 metres in a westerly direction.

    d. North side, from a point 1.1 metres east of the western building line of No. 21 Thames Road for 25.3 metres in an easterly direction.

    e. North side, from a point 6.6 metres west of the eastern boundary line of No. 23a Thames Road for 30.2 metres in a westerly direction.

    f. South side, from a point 17.8 metres east of the fence line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road for 9.7 metres in an easterly direction.

    g. South side, from a point 12.3 metres east of the building line of No. 25 Thames Road for 12.1 metres in an easterly direction.

    h. South side, from a point 6.4 metres east of the galvanised fence line on the east side of No. 26 Thames Road for 6.2 metres in an easterly direction.

    i. South side, from a point 31 metres east of the galvanised fence line on the east side of No. 26 Thames Road for 24.7 metres in an easterly direction.

    j. North side, from a point 32.4 metres east of the western building line of 25 Thames Road for 45.5 metres in an easterly direction.

    k. South side, from a point 70.4 metres west of the western kerbline of Gallions Close for 8.6 metres in a westerly direction.

    l. North side, from a point 16.1 metres west of the western kerbline of Gallions Close for 19.2 metres in a westerly direction.

    m. South side, from a point 17.7 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Gallions Close for 32.9 metres in an easterly direction.

    n. South side, from a point 13.29 west of the western fence line of the Ripple Nature Reserve for 140.7 metres in a westerly direction.

    o. North side, from a point 3.7 west of the western building line of 47 Thames Road to a point 21 metres east of the western building line of 47 Thames Road.

    p. North side, from a point 33 east of the western building line of 47 Thames Road for 10.4 metres in an easterly direction.

    q. North side, from a point 0.9 metres west of the western building line of 1 Twine Close for 32.6 metres in an easterly direction.

  5. Revoke the existing unrestricted 2 wheel parking bays at the following locations on Thames Road:

    a. North side, from a point 28.4 metres west of the western kerbline of Radford Way for 3 metres in a westerly direction.

  6. Introduce no stopping at any time except local buses at the following locations:

    a. North side, from a point 5.4 metres east of the western building line of 25 Thames Road for 27 metres in an easterly direction.

    b. South side, from a point 13.8 metres west of the eastern boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road to a point 17.6 metres east of the boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road.

  7. Revoke the ‘No Waiting at any time’ restrictions at the following locations on Thames Road:

    a. North side, from a point 8.6 metres west of the eastern boundary line of No. 15a Thames Road for 9.4 metres in a westerly direction.

    b. South side, from a point 70.4 metres west of the western kerbline of Gallions Close for 8.6 metres in a westerly direction.

    c. North side, from a point 35 metres west of the western kerbline of Gallions Close to a point 20 metres east of the western kerbline of Gallions Close.

  8. Revoke the unrestricted 2 wheel parking bays at the following locations on Thames Road:

    a. South side, from a point 11.5 metres west of the building line of No.6 Thames Road to a point 31.5 metres east of the building line of No.6 Thames Road.

    b. South side, from a point 12 metres east of the building line of No. 25 Thames Road for 10 metres in an easterly direction.

    c. South side, from a point 8.2 metres east of the boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road for 25 metres in an easterly direction.

    d. South side, from a point 54 metres east of the boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road for 21 metres in an easterly direction.

    e. South side, from a point 35.8 metres east of the galvanised fence line of No. 26 Thames Road for 16 metres in an easterly direction.

  9. Revoke the unrestricted parking bay on Thames Road:

    a. North side, from a point 67 metres west of the western kerbline of Gallions Close for 25 metres in a westerly direction.

    b. South side, from a point 17.7 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Gallions Close for 44.9 metres in an easterly direction.

  10. Revoke the no stopping at any time except local buses on Thames Road:

    a. South side, from a point 5 metres west of the eastern boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road to a point 8.5 metres east of the boundary line of Nos. 18–22 Thames Road.

    b. North side, from a point 7.8 metres west of the western kerbline of Gallions Close to a point 11 metres east of the western kerbline of Gallions Close
