What is happening?

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Road From Northcott Mouth Road To Stone Hill, Poughill, Bude) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for lead replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th October 2025 to 24th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Northcott Mouth Road To Stone Hill, Poughill, Bude between the junction with Northcott Mouth Road and property known as St Olafs Cottage. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement and reconductor overhead cables and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th October 2025 to 9th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Nescott To Langdon Cross, North Petherwin, Launceston between property known as Forda House and the junction with Stenhill Hill. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for overhead cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2025 to 8th October 2025.
