DEDDF RHEOLEIDIO TRAFFIG FFYRDD 1984 – ADRAN 14(1)

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych, ddim cynt na 7 niwrnod o 17 Medi 2025, yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd/rhoi cyfyngiadau ar gerbydau fel a ganlyn.

1) Cau Ffordd Dros Dro: Ni chaiff unrhyw un achosi i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd Heol y Bryn y cyfeirir ato yn yr Atodlen isod.

2) Cyfyngiad Traffig Unffordd Dros Dro: Ni chaiff unrhyw un achosi i unrhyw gerbyd deithio i gyfeiriad y de ar hyd Heol y Capel y cyfeirir ato yn yr Atodlen dan sylw.

Mae angen y cyfyngiad er mwyn i GTC osod cysylltiadau nwy newydd. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 6 Hydref 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 25 Hydref 2025.

1) Cau Ffordd Dros Dro:

Heol y Bryn; yn ymestyn tua’r de o’i chyffordd â Stryd y Berwyn am tua 10 metr.

2) Cyfyngiad Traffig Unffordd Dros Dro:

Heol y Capel; Y rhan sy’n ymestyn tua’r gogledd o’i chyffordd â Stryd y Berwyn i’w chyffordd â Heol y Dderwen.

• Caniateir i draffig fynd tua’r gogledd ar hyd Heol y Capel o gyffordd Stryd y Berwyn.

• Caiff traffig ei wahardd tua’r de a bydd yn rhaid i’r traffig ddilyn dargyfeiriad.

Bydd y llwybrau dargyfeirio ar hyd:

  1. Llwybr dargyfeirio ar gyfer Heol y Bryn:

    Bache Mill Road, Pengwern, Brook Street, Stryd y Frenhines a Regent Street.

  2. Llwybr dargyfeirio ar gyfer cerbydau tua’r de ar Heol y Capel:

    Heol y Dderwen, Heol y Castell a Stryd y Berwyn.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

HILL STREET AND CHAPEL STREET, LLANGOLLEN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 17th September 2025 to make an Order prohibiting/restricting vehicular traffic as follows.

1) Temporary Road Closure:

No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Hill Street referred to in the Schedule below.

2) Temporary One-way traffic restriction:

No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in a southbound direction along Chapel Street referred to in the said Schedule.

The reason for the restriction is to facilitate installation of new gas connections by GTC. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The Order is effective from 6th October 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest.

The works are expected to last approximately until 25th October 2025.

Lengths of Road at Llangollen in the County of Denbigh

1) Temporary Road closure:

Hill Street; extending southwards from its junction with Berwyn Street for a distance of approximately 10 metres.

2) Temporary One-way traffic restriction:

Chapel Street; The section which extends northward from its junction with Berwyn Street to its junction with Oak Street.

• Traffic will be permitted to head north on Chapel Street from the Berwyn Street junction.

• Southbound traffic will be prohibited and will have to follow the diversion.

Diversion routes will be via:

  1. Diversion route for Hill Street:

    Bache Mill Road, Pengwern, Brook Street, Queen Street and Regent Street.

  2. Diversion route for southbound vehicles on Chapel Street:

    Oak Street, Castle Street and Berwyn Street.
