What is happening?

Salford City Council made the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The title and effects of the Order is as follows; City Of Salford (Bridgewater Road) (Designated Loading/Unloading Parking Place) Order 2025.

The Order will introduce the following restrictions. Loading/ Unloading Parking Place. Operational, All Days and All Hours on: Bridgewater Rd - east side from a point 25m northeast of the northeastern extended kerbline of Mayfield Avenue in a north easterly direction for a distance of 14m. The Order will come into operation on the 18th September 2025. A copy of the Order and plan will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested at phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or by writing to Fiona Ledden, City Solicitor PO BOX 532, Town Hall, Manchester M60 2LA quoting reference L/GS/ SCC006/01286. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 12th September 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
