NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
PUBLIC PATH AND DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION (PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY 330, BARTON-UPON-HUMBER) ORDER 2025(1)
On 10 September 2025 North Lincolnshire Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public bridleway in Barton upon Humber running from south east of Kingsforth Hall at TA02931937 for 700 metres south thence east to TA03221888, to from south east of Kingsforth Hall at TA02931937 for 770 metres east thence south to TA03221888, as shown on the order map, with the definitive map and statement modified thus in consequence.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Church Square House, Church Square, Scunthorpe from 9am to 4.30pm on weekdays other than public holidays. Copies of the order and the map may be obtained there free of charge or viewed online at www.northlincs.gov.uk (search on ‘Public Rights of Way Current Public Notices’).
The order comes into force as from 17 September 2025, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 18 September 2025, make an application to the High Court.
