Main Street, Netherseal - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Installation and Maintenance of Fibre Apparatus
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MAIN STREET, NETHERSEAL
WHEN: 06 October to 10 October 2025 (19:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Main Street, Netherseal from its Jct. with Church Street, for an approx. distance of 170m south to the county boundary with Leicestershire.
REASON: To facilitate installation and maintenance of fibre apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Main Street, Clifton Road, Sandy Lane, Netherseal Road, No Mans Heath Road, Ashby Road, from Netherseal Road to Unnamed Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
