An order has been made to close the below roads, from 22nd September 2025 for approximately 6 weeks. The restriction will only be in place for up to 3 days within this period.
Pogmoor Lane, Pogmoor – Temporary road closure from West Moor Crescent to Farm House Lane. An alternative route is available via West Moor Crescent, Pogmoor Road, Farm House Lane.
Racecommon Lane, Barnsley – Temporary road closure from Keresforth Hall Road to End.
Reason: Carriageway retread.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
An order will be made to introduce the below restrictions:
Temporary 40mph restriction on Broad Carr Road between Sheffield Road and a point 130 metres north east of the junction with Burying Lane.
Temporary closure of Burying Lane, Hoyland from the junction with Broadcarr Road for a distance of 20 metres in a southeasterly direction. An alternative is available via Water Lane/Wentworth Road/Armroyd Lane/Broad Carr Road.
Restrictions will be in place as required from 29 September 2025 for approximately 7 days.
