THE COUNTY OF DEVON
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)
(ST JOHNS ROAD, EXMOUTH) ORDER 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 22/9/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 10/10/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: St Johns Road, Exmouth, (From Junction Of Dinan Way To Outside South Lodge)
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - St Johns Road, The Common, Outer Ting Tong, Knowle Hill, Salterton Road, Dinan Way, St Johns Road [Clockwise] St Johns Road, Dinan Way, Salterton Road, Knowle Hill, Outer Ting Tong, The Common, St Johns Road, [Anti Clockwise].
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: RC Required For Gas Mains Replacement Works.

TEMPORARY 10MPH SPEED LIMIT
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 22/9/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 29/9/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 10 miles per hour on the sections of the affected roads when temporary traffic signing is in place.
Roads affected: road from The Grange to Four Firs [B3179], Woodbury
There Is No Alternative Route.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Speed Restriction to assist convoy workings.
10MPH RESTRICTION: B3179 – from a point 150m west of the junction of B3180 & heading in a westerly direction for 300m.
40MPH RESTRICTION: B3179 – from the junction with B3180 & heading in a westerly direction for 150m.
40MPH RESTRICTION: B3179 – from a point 500m east of the junction with the road to Blackhill Quarry & heading in an easterly direction for 250m.
