Queens Road - Temporary Road Closure To Micro Resurfacing Works

Temporary Closure of Queens Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Queens Road - from the junction with Christopher Way to the junction with Norton Close. A total distance of 309 metres.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out micro resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 2nd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 10th October 2025 and last until 14th October 2025 between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 5 days.
