Bereweeke Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Maintenance Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - BEREWEEKE ROAD, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bereweeke
Road between its junction with Andover Road and its junction with a point approximately 40m south west thereof.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Andover Road, Sussex
Street, Upper High Street, St Paul's Hill, Stockbridge Road, St Paul's Hill, Clifton Terrace, Sussex Street, Andover Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 3rd October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 days, working between the hours of 09:30-15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Chevron Traffic Management to carry out maintenance works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: aimee.blanchard@chevrontm.com
Chevron Traffic Management will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
