Three Arch Bridge Road and Combe Hill - Temporary Road Closure To Pre-Surface Dressing Patching Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Three Arch Bridge Road and Combe Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Three Arch Bridge Road - from the junction with Furlong Lane, to the junction with Oborne Road and Combe Hill - from the junction with Furlong Lane, to the junction with Newtown. A total distance of 970 metres.

This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

Solid diamond symbolization will be used on the diversion route and will not clash with any other Kiely Bros works within the area.

The Order becomes effective on 2nd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 7th October 2025 and last until 13th October 2025 between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 7 days.
