Field Street, Willenhall - Removal Of Zebra Crossing & Road Humps

PUBLIC NOTICE

WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 23

Walsall Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) proposes to remove the existing zebra crossing that is situated on Field Street, Willenhall southwest of Memorial Close and establish a new zebra crossing at the
location below:

Zebra Crossing

Field Street, Willenhall approximately 22 metres northeast of its junction with Memorial Close.

The purpose of the crossings is to facilitate development and allow safe pedestrian movements.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTIONS 90 A – F

ROAD HUMP NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council in exercise of powers conferred by Section 90A to 90F of the Highways Act 1980 propose to remove the existing road humps that are situated on Field Street, Willenhall northeast of Memorial Close and introduce new traffic calming features at the location below:

Raised Flat Top Speed Table (full carriageway width with zebra crossing sited upon it) Field Street, Willenhall (5.7m long x 50mm high) approximately 22 metres northeast of its junction with Memorial Close.
