NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
Green End Road, Sawtry
Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1343
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Green End Road, Sawtry as lies between Bill Hall Way & Church Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via: High St; Fen Ln; Bill Hall Way & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate footway & carriageway resurfacing & other highway works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 27/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/4/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 28/10 & 31/10/25.

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Needingworth Road A1123, St Ives & Needingworth Bypass A1123, Needingworth as it lies between B1040 & Morrisons; Morrisons & High Street respectively. The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate re-surfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 26/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/3/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 29/9 & 14/10/25.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Great Gidding Road B660, Winwick as lies between Main Street & Turning Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via B660; A14; A1; B1043; B660 & vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/4/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/10 & 24/10/25.

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Footpath From Brook Street to Navigation Wharf, St Neots as lies between Brook Street & Navigation Wharf. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate resurfacing, retexturing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/4/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/10 & 31/10/25.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate the installation of new water & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 27/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/4/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 27/10 & 31/10/25.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Brington as lies between Church Lane & Old Thrapston Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via B660; A14; B660; Spaldwick Rd; High Street & vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate other utility connections & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 26/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/4/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 27/10 & 31/10/25.
Wood End, Bluntisham
Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1637
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wood End, Bluntisham as lies between The Fairway & Meridian Close. The alternative route for vehicles is via Wood End; High St; A1123; B1040; The Heath, Somersham; The Heath, Colne; The Heath, Bluntisham; Wood End & vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunication duct clearance, cabling & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 7/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/4/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 7/10 & 9/10/25.
High Street B1428 & Moores Walk, St Neots
Temporary Prohibition Of Use & Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting – Order 2025-1640
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Moores Walk, St Neots as lies between No.42 & High Street B1428 & stop any vehicle from parking/waiting along High Street B1428 as lies between Nos.35 & 45. The alternative pedestrian routes will be as signed.
During the period the Order remains in force The District of Huntingdonshire (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order is hereby suspended as it relates to the affected areas of Moores Walk.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate external masonry inspection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 29/9/25 & continue unless these works have finished or on the 28/3/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 06:00hrs & 17:00hrs on 29/9/25.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11 & 13/11/25.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical cable replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/10/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 4/4/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:30hrs & 18:00hrs on 5/10/25.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Huntingdon as lies between B1514 & Hartford Road.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Hartford Rd; B1514.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate footway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/10/2025 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/3/2027 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/10 & 1/12/25 (except Wednesdays & Saturdays).
Various Roads, West
Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1839
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. This Order shall prevent access and egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1.
The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate carriageway surface treatment & associated works.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/10/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 31/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the schedule.
During the period in which access is temporarily prohibited any vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes, or any vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
