Croadalla Avenue, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Utility Works

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U4261 CROADALLA AVENUE, EGREMONT) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the U4261 Croadalla Avenue, Egremont from its junction with the U4262, Whitegate, extending in an overall northerly direction for approx. 60m.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted section of the U4261 Croadalla Avenue, Smithfield Road, Howbank Road, A595, U4431 Main Street, Castle Villas, Bookwell and C4007 Grove Road,

The Order will come into operation on 9 October 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 day, between 1800 and 2200 hours, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
