Suffolk, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works
What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1066 BURY ROAD, BROCKLEY
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1066 Bury Road, Brockley from 210 metres north of Hawkes Lane for 60 metres northbound to facilitate water works and carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1066, the A143, the A1302, the A134, the A1092, the B1066 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from:
? 8pm on 26/09/2025 - 6am on 29/09/2025
? 8pm on 03/10/2025 - 6am on 06/10/2025.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1106 WESTLEY ROAD AND MARHAM PARKWAY, ORNHAM ALL SAINTS AND BURY ST EDMUNDS
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
? B1106 Westley Road, Fornham All Saints from the junction with School Road to the junction with Marham Parkway
? B1106 Marham Parkway, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Westley Road to the junction with Crossed Link
This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1106, the A1101, the A143, the A1302 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/09/2025 - 20/09/2025 from 7pm - 5am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C735 FORNHAM ROAD, GREAT BARTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C735 Fornham Road, Great Barton from the junction with West Road to the junction with Bury Road to facilitate fibre network installation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be The Avenue, Barton Road, Diomed Drive, Livermere Road, Conyers Way, School Road, The Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/09/2025 - 26/09/2025, but if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4141 LOVERS LANE, HARKSTEAD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4141 Lovers Lane, Harkstead from Lings Lane to Lower Road to facilitate tree cutting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Lower Road, Lings Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/09/2025 - 19/09/2025 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
