Cholmondeley Road Resurfacing - Temporary Road Closure for Carriageway Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (CHOLMONDELEY ROAD RESURFACING) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Cholmondeley Road, Salford, M6 8PF, for its entire length.
The Order is necessary for carriageway resurfacing works.
The order is due to come into operation on Friday 24th October 2025 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Friday 7th November.
The diversion routes are Lancaster Road - Lightoaks Road - Claremont Road - Eccles Old Road, vice versa.
