(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 82, 83, and 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, proposes to make an Order to introduce a 30 miles per hour speed limit on the length of road described in the Schedule to this Notice.
This measure is considered necessary for the following reasons:
• To avoid danger to persons or other road users, or to prevent the likelihood of such danger arising;
• To contribute to improved road safety for vulnerable road users, including children and the elderly.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the exact length of road to which it relates and a Statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order, may be:
