Wilkins Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Telecom Maintenance Woks
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bridgwater Temporary Closure of Wilkins Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Wilkins Road - from the junction with Eastern Avenue to the junction with Beech Road. A total distance of 67 metres. This Order will enable United Living Connected to carry out telecoms maintenance works on behalf of Hutchinson's 3G.
The Order becomes effective on 30th September 2025 and will remain In force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th October 2025 and last until 6th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 10 hours.
