Leicestershire Area: Kimcote, Lubenham, Great Bodwen, Swinford, Willoughby, Cosby - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.
WALTON ROAD, POULTNEY LANE, KIMCOTE
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2025
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 13/10/2025 and have a maximum duration of 20 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 8 weeks to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake pipe renewal works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 16/10//2025 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 7 days to allow Severn Trent Water and BT Openreach to undertake various utility maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 16/10/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake boundary box installation works.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 17/10/2025 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 14 days to allow Alders Building Services to undertake S184 development works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.
COSBY LANE, WILLOUGHBY WATERLEYS & COSBY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2025
The Order will come into force on 23/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 8 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake forestry works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Willoughby Rd, Old Forge Rd, Station Rd, Holt Ln & vice versa.
