DEVONSHIRE STREET, DUCHESS STREET, NEW CAVENDISH STREET, PARK CRESCENT, PORTLAND PLACE AND WEYMOUTH STREET

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of 
Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended:

•The City of Westminster (Cycle Hangars) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*;
•The City of Westminster (Doctor Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*;
•The City of Westminster (Free Parking Places) (Diplomatic Missions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*
•The City of Westminster (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Permit Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*;
•The City of Westminster (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*;
•The City of Westminster (Motorcycle Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*;
•The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (F Zone) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*;

2.The general effect of the Orders, in connection with the introduction of a segregated with-flow cycle track on Portland Place and the formalisation of a combination of advisory and mandatory with-flow cycle lanes along the route between Park Crescent (the eastern arm) and Portland Place,would be to revise parking place provisions and waiting and loading restrictions in the vicinity of the cycle track and cycle lanes, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

3.FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council, in accordance with the provisions of section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
intends to:

(a)introduce a “zebra” pedestrian / cycle crossing and associated zig-zag markings outside No. 17 Park Crescent which would extend from 28.2 metres west of the eastern kerb-line of Portland Place to a point 13.5 metres east of that kerb-line; and
(b) realign the zig-zag markings on the north-west side of the “zebra” pedestrian crossing located on Portland Place, at its junction with Langham Street, to form continuous cycle routes with the proposed advisory / mandatory with-flow cycle lanes / tracks in that road.

4.The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at https://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

1.30 p.m. loading restrictions
