ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(RUGBY ROAD, KILSBY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Rugby Road, Kilsby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Rugby Road, Kilsby from A5 to Hall Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new electrical connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 week.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use North Street, Main Road, Malt Mill Green and A5.

(MAIN STREET & STATION ROAD, WATFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Main Street and Station Road, Watford as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Main Street and Station Road, Watford from Church Street to rear exit of M1 services.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during traffic calming works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 17th October 2025.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use West Haddon Road, Watford Road, Station Road, High Street, Guilsborough Road, A428 and A5.

(STOWE ROAD, PRESTON CAPES)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stowe Road, Preston Capes as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stowe Road, Preston Capes from Maidford Road for 150 metres.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Presto Capes Road, Everdon Road, Maidford Road, Farthingstone Road, Preston Capes Road and Maidford Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of South Way, Daventry as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of South Way, Daventry from Eastern Avenue to Abbey Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gully repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Stefan Way, Leamington Way, Braunston Road and Eastern Way.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Sidney Road, Woodford Halse as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Sidney Road, Woodford Halse from Charwell Terrace to Castle Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation a new gas supply.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Castle Road, Percy Road, Church Street and Charwell Terrace.
