Nottingham Road, Borrowash - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Carriageway Patching and Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
NOTTINGHAM ROAD, BORROWASH
WHEN: 06 October to 08 October 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: Nottingham Road, Borrowash between Brooks Road and Barrons Way.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nottingham Road, Derby Road, A52, Brian Clough Way, Junction 25 M1, Bostocks Lane, Longmoor Road, Petersham Road, Wilsthorpe Road, Draycott Road, Station Road, Victoria Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
