What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
LORING ROAD (PART), WINDSOR
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of Loring Road from its junction with Dedworth Drive to northern boundary of No 12 Hanover Way.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Loring Road, Hanover Way and Dedworth Drive.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the highway, namely highway drainage investigation and repairs and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public

The proposed Order shall be in operation from 09:00 hours on Monday the 6 October until 15:00 on Tuesday 7 October 2025. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
