KIRKLEES COUNCIL - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

BENNETT LANE, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bennett Lane, Dewsbury from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with Kirkgate PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Langdale Road, Croftlands, Leeds Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 8 October 2025 and remain in force until 11 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PROSPECT ROAD, HARTSHEAD, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Prospect Road, Hartshead, Liversedge from its junction with Fall Lane to its junction with Church Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will available via Fall Lane, Peep Green Road, School Lane, Windy Bank Lane, Prospect Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 8 October 2025 and will remain in force until 11 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WARWICK ROAD, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Warwick Road, Batley PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Rink Street, Bradford Road, Grafton Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday 6 October 2025 for approximately one day only between 18:00 and 00:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to months if necessary).

(NELSON STREET, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Nelson Street, Liversedge from its junction with Union Road to the end of Nelson Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
No diversion required.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 and will remain in force until 8 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GARFITT HILL, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)  
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Garfitt Hill, Birstall from a point approximately outside property no.2 Garfitt Hill to a point outside property no.23 Garfitt Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Church Lane, Muffit Lane, Garfitt Hill and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 and remain in force until 7 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOOD LANE, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of  Wood Lane, Mirfield from its junction with Helm Lane to a point approximately outside property no 12 Wood Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wood Lane, North Gate, Hopton Lane, Hopton New Road, Station Road, Huddersfield Road, Wood Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 22:00 and remain in force until 7 October 2025 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

 (NEW LANE, MOORSIDE, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of New Lane, Moorside from its junction with Moorside to its junction with Halifax Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Halifax Road, Moorside and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 22 September 2025 and remain in force until 24 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period upto 18 months if necessary).

(GEORGE STREET, DEWSBURY) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of George Street, Dewsbury from its junction with Central Street to its junction with Dewsbury Ring Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dewsbury Ring Road, Ashworth Road, Wormald Street, Boothroyd Lane, Pinfold Hill, Webster Hill.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 6 September 2025 07:00 and remain in force until November 2025 17:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(RINK STREET, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Rink Street, Batley from its junction with Rink Street, Batley to its junction with Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Rink Street, Cross Rink Street, Mount Street, Bradford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 23 September 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(OLD BANK ROAD, EARLSHEATON, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Old Bank Road, Earlsheaton from its junction with Wakefield Road to a point approximately outside Valley Batteries on Old Bank Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Old Bank Road, York Road, Canterbury Road, Bywell Road, Wakefield Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 21 September 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 21 September 2025 12:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WATERGATE ROAD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Watergate Road, Dewsbury from junction after bridge on Watergate Road to its junction of A644 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 23 September 2025 23:00 and remain in force until 24 September 2025 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(UPPER ROAD, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Upper Road, Batley from its junction with Halifax Road to a point approximately outside property no. 152 Upper Road  PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Upper Road, Town Street, Hyrstlands Road, Purlwell Lane, Purlwell Avenue, Track Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 25 September 2025 21:00 and remain in force until 26 September 2025 2:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CLOUGH LANE, LOWER HOPTON, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Clough Lane, Lower Hopton from 100 metres from private road to Liley Beck and to its junction with Whitley Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition 
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Whitley Road, Edge Top Road, Overthorpe Road, The Common, The Combs, Church Lane, Combs Road, Valley Road, Hostingley Lane, New Road, Nell Gap Lane, Wakefield Road, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 25 September 2025 19:00 and remain in force until 27 September 2025 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(EDGE ROAD, THORNHILL EDGE, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of  Edge Road, Thornhill Edge from a point outside property no 341 Edge Road to a point outside property no 347 Edge Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Edge Road, Smithy Brook Lane, Hostingley Lane, Frank Lane, Edge Lane, Albion Road, Edge Road and vice versa.

(LISTING LANE/CALIFORNIA LANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the roads have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in those length of Listing Lane/California Lane, Gomersal from its junction with Quarry Road to the end of California Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:
Diversion 1: Listing Lane, Oxford Road and vice versa
Diversion 2: Listing Lane, A638 Bradford Road, A62 Leeds Road, A651 Gomersal Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 24 September 2025 and will remain in force until 25 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TRAFALGAR STREET, HEALEY, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) 
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Trafalgar Street, Healey from a point outside property no 70 Trafalgar Street to a point outside property no 74 Trafalgar Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
