Longmoor Road, Long Eaton - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Carriageway Patching and Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE LONGMOOR ROAD, LONG EATON
WHEN: 30 September to 01 October 2025 (07:00 to 18:00)
WHERE: Longmoor Road, Long Eaton between No. 147 and No. 85.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Briar Gate, Longmoor Road, Grasmere Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished.
This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
