Castle Wynd, Lauder & Chapel Street, Selkirk - Temporary Closures or No Waiting
What is happening?
(CASTLE WYND, LAUDER) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (Castle Wynd, Lauder) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 September 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 24 September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 each day. The Order is required for Scottish Water Ironworks repair.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Castle Wynd, Lauder.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the DL4/5, The Avenue, A68 West High Street, The Row, DL4/5 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(CHAPEL STREET, SELKIRK)
(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (Chapel Street, Selkirk) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 07:00 on 22 September 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 30 September 2025. The Order is required to install a drainage connection for new supermarket. When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the parking bay at Chapel Street, Selkirk from number 25 to number 37.
