Back Lane, Sutton On The Hill - Temporary Road Closure For Telecoms Pole Replacement
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BACK LANE, SUTTON ON THE HILL
WHEN: 06 October to 07 October 2025.
WHERE: Back Lane, Sutton on the Hill from its Jct. with Commonpiece Lane for an approx. distance of 734m north.
REASON: To facilitate telecoms pole replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Back Lane, Unnamed Road from Cropper Lane to Back Lane, Cropper Lane, Commonpiece Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
