Bath Road and Goose Street - Temporary Road Closure To Gas Mains Works

Temporary Closure of Bath Road and Goose Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bath Road (06th October 2025 - 05th December 2025) - from the junction with Warminster Road to the junction with Goose Street and Goose Street (03rd November 2025 - 14th November 2025) - from the junction with Bath Road, north eastwards for a distance of 75 metres. A total distance of 200 metres.
This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out phased gas mains works.
The Order becomes effective on 2nd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th October 2025 and last until 5th December 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 61 days.
