Dovedale Avenue - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Carriageway Patching/resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DOVEDALE AVENUE, LONG EATON
WHEN: 06 October to 08 October 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night).
WHERE: Dovedale Avenue, Long Eaton between the Jct. of Wilsthorpe Road and Dovedale Primary School.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching/resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dovedale Avenue, Ruskin Avenue, Wilsthorpe Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
