What is happening?
WAKEFIELD COUNCIL
(SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 5) ORDER 2025
OAKENSHAW LANE, WALTON
The Council of the City of Wakefield proposes to make the above Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which, in relation to a road in Walton, will be to:-
• Introduce a 30mph speed limit along the following road:
Oakenshaw Lane, Walton
If you wish to examine the proposed Order you can view a copy on the website www.wakefield.gov.uk/tro. It does include copies of plans showing the proposed changes to the road as well as a Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order. If you have any queries regarding the Order, please email trafficregs@wakefield.gov.uk.
