Compton Road - Temporary Road Closure To Resurfacing Works

Temporary Closure of Compton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Compton Road - from the junction with Cannard’s Grave Road to the junction with Middleton Lane. A total distance of 549 metres.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 2nd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 9th October 2025 and last until 13th October 2025 between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 5 days.
