Blofield, Introduction Of 20mph Speed Limit Zone
What is happening?
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BLOFIELD, VARIOUS ROADS) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2025
The Norfolk County Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 20 miles per hour along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.

Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Broadland District Council, the Horizon Centre, Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich NR7 0WF, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 7th October 2025. | U51725 – Blyth Close | From the centre of its junction with the U51681 Shreeve Road for its entire length, a distance of 119 metres, including turning heads. |
| U51722 – Burdett Close | From the centre of its junction with the U51681 Shreeve Road for 13.5 metres. |
| U51723 – Gunns Close | From the centre of its junction with the U51681 Shreeve Road for 17 metres westwards. |
| U51681 – Shreeve Road | From the centreline of its junction with the C485 Yarmouth Road for its entire length, a distance of 302 metres, including its turning heads. |
| U51724 – Smith Close | From the centre of its junction with the U51681 Shreeve Road for its entire length, a distance of 41 metres, including its turning heads. |
