What is happening?
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(REEDHAM, MIDDLE HILL) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
The Norfolk County Council has made the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the 9th September 2025, which will come into operation on 19th September 2025.
The effect of which would be to prohibit any motor vehicle to enter or proceed along U59531 Middle Hill from a point 60 metres south of its junction with C436 The Hills to its junction with U59301 Riverside.
A copy of the Order and plan may be viewed online at https://norfolk.citizenspace.com/. Copies may also be available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich and at the offices of Broadland District Council, The Horizon Centre, Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0WF, during normal office hours. However, in-house staffing levels have been reduced and viewing online would be recommended.
Any person who desires to question the validity of the above Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 9th September 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
