A47 Trunk Road (Junction 19 Fulbridge Interchange, Peterborough) Slip Roads - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(B)
THE A47 TRUNK ROAD (JUNCTION 19 FULBRIDGE INTERCHANGE, CITY OF PETERBOROUGH)
SLIP ROADS (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A47 Trunk Road in the City of Peterborough to allow for participants safety in relation to the Great Eastern Run.

The traffic safety measures would be in place for the Great Eastern Run and would be in operation on Sunday 12 October 2025 between approximately, the hours of 05:00am and 16:00pm.

The effect of the Order would be to close, during the times specified above, the A47 at J19 eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads.

Traffic exiting the A47 at J19 eastbound would be diverted to exit at J20 then via A15 Paston Parkway, Gunthorpe Road and local roads.

Traffic exiting the A47 at J19 westbound would be diverted to exit at J18 then via the A15 Bourges Boulevard and local roads.

Traffic joining the A47 at J19 would be diverted via J18 for eastbound and via J20 for westbound following local diversions.

The closures (which would not apply to emergency service or traffic officer vehicles) and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the event.

The Order would come into force on 6 October 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
