Cromford Road - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CROMFORD ROAD, RIPLEY

WHEN: 03 October to 04 October 2025 (19:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Cromford Road, Ripley between its Jct. with Victoria Road and its Jct. with Pasteur Avenue.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of a Severn Trent Water inspection chamber and cover.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cromford Road, High Street, Church Street, Nottingham Road, Grosvenor Road, Unnamed Road comprising section of A610 from A38 to Nottingham Road, Ripley, Lesley Crescent, Hartshay Hill and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
