What is happening?

LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CHAPEL LANE, GRINDLETON, RIBBLE VALLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
(TEMPORARY AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025

The Lancashire County Council (“the County Council”) in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (the Act), and of all other enabling powers, HEREBY makes the following Order: -
i. To amend Article 4 and 5 as follows:
4. Vehicular access for residents will be maintained
whenever and wherever possible. Pedestrian access for residents and emergency services to properties will always be maintained.
5. There will be no diversion in place at this location.
This Temporary Amendment Order shall come into operation on 21st August 2025 and may be cited as “The Lancashire County Council (CHAPEL LANE, GRINDLETON, RIBBLE VALLEY) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025 (Temporary Amendment) Order 2025”
