Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 18 September 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (HAMPSON CLOSE, BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2223)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow Openreach to install Duct (29th September 2025 – 30th September 2025) (Between 8:00am and 6:00pm).
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road:-
• Hampson Close Bradwell – from outside number 2 – Number 31.
Access will be maintained for residents.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 16 September 2025, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GILLAMOOR CLOSE, EMERSON VALLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2259)
in order to enable Openreach to carry out ducting works 24th and 25th September 2025 (24 hours).
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Gillamoor Close, Emerson Valley – its entire length.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
Access will be maintained.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CAMBRIDGE STREET (PART), WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2248)
in order to enable SGN to carry out connection works 22nd – 26th September 2025 (24 hours).
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Cambridge Street, Wolverton – from its junction with Western Road to its junction with Aylesbury Street.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Western Road, Green Lane, Radcliffe Street and Aylesbury Street (and vice versa).
Access will be maintained.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHURCH ROAD (PART), BOW BRICKHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2177)
in order to enable Openreach to carry out connection works 25th and 26th September 2025 (24 hours).
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Church Road, Bow Brickhill – from its junction with Drakewell Road to a point level with All Saints Church.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Woburn Road, Hardwick Road, The Leys and Bow Brickhill Road (and vice versa).
Access will be maintained.

Public Notices for Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 18 September 2025:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under sections 82(2) and 83(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Traffic Regulation Order.
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (CALVERTON ROAD, STRATFORD ROAD, QUEEN ELEANOR STREET, WOLVERTON ROAD, (PARTS), STONY STRATFORD) (40 MPH) ORDER 2008) VARIATION ORDER 2025
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to reduce the 40mph on Wolverton Road in Stony Stratford. The affected length of road will become 30mph by virtue of street lighting.
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at:

Any representations or objections to the proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ, or by email to

quoting reference TRO-447 and to be received no later than 9th October 2025. Any representations received will be taken into consideration before the implementation of the scheme.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2), 4(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Traffic Regulation Order.
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (VARIOUS ROADS, WEST BLETCHLEY) (CONSOLIDATION OF PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING) ORDER 2002) VARIATION ORDER 2025
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to extend the no waiting at any time restrictions along the north-west side of Melrose Avenue and introduce no waiting at any time restrictions along parts of Dorchester Avenue in West Bletchley.
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at:
