What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting cyclists from proceeding on Darlington Street Cycle Lane from the junction with Red Lion Street to the junction of North Street. Cyclists to dismount and use the
footway.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken
from 29 September 2025 until 7 November 2025.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a water main and hydrant renewal by Severn Trent Water.
