Norwood Lane, Mag Lane, Whaley Common, Oxpastures Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
VARIOUS ROADS, WHALEY
WHEN: 06 October to 07 October 2025 (08:00 to 16:00 each day).
WHERE: Various Roads (Norwood Lane, Mag Lane, Whaley Common, Oxpastures Lane), Whaley in their entirety.
REASON: To facilitate highway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cockshut Lane, Portland Road, Limes Avenue, A632, B6417, Spring Lane, Main Road (Elmton) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
