Meadow Lane- Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MEADOW LANE, SHIREBROOK
WHEN: 06 October to 09 October 2025 (09:30 to 15:30 each day).
WHERE: Meadow Lane, Shirebrook from its Jct. with B6407 Common Lane to its Jct. with Weighbridge Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6407 Common Lane / Main Street / King Edward Street / Portland Road, Portland Drive, Weighbridge Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
