(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to wait any time on that length of St Annes Road West, Lytham St Annes (southbound carriageway only) from its merging with St Andrews Road North for a distance of 30 metres in a southerly direction.
2. To temporarily prohibit any vehicle from loading and unloading at any time that length of St Annes Road West, Lytham St Annes (southbound carriageway only) from its merging with St Andrews Road North for a distance of 30 metres in a southerly direction.
3. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
4. The prohibition will be operative from daily 0800 hours until 1700 hours on Monday 29th September 2025 until Friday 3rd October 2025 or until completion of the works within this period. Access for emergency services will be maintained.
5. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.
The temporary restriction is necessary to allow excavation of joint bays to install new connection works to be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of Electricity North West.
