THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(CHURCH HILL & WAKELEY HILL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:

* Church Hill closed in both directions at its junction with Penn Road and its junction with Brenton Road. Vehicular Diversion Route: Penn Road, Vicarage Road and Church Hill and vice versa.

* Wakeley Hill closed in both directions at its junction with Church Hill and The Fold.
Vehicular Diversion Route: Church Hill, Pennwood Lane and Wakeley Hill and vice versa.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 29 September 2025 until 27 October 2025.
The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works by Cadent.
