What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit, No Overtakimng & No Stopping (Clearway), A171 Cloughton to Hawsker & B1416 From Jct A171 to Jct Dean Hall Brow Sneaton, Order 2025 No 343
We have made this Order that will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 mph, no overtaking & no stopping (clearway) along A171 Cloughton to Hawsker, B1416 from junction A171 to junction Dean Hall Brow, Sneaton for a temporary period from 01/09/25 to 31/12/25 due to ongoing Moorland Fire incident. The restriction period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs. This restriction will be followed by a further restriction until 31/12/25.
