What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
Carradale Avenue Falkirk from 07:30 hours until 17:00 hours on 22/09/25. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing work to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes Carradale Avenue from its junction with Greenbank Road for approximately 115m in a westerly direction.
2. The alternative route is: Carradale Avenue, Arran Terrace, Cumbrae Drive, Tamfourhill Road, Glenfuir Road, Greenbank Road and vice versa.
Saltcoats Drive, Grangemouth from 08:00 on 22/09/25 until 23:59 on 23/09/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Saltcoats Drive, Grangemouth from a point adjacent to Kersiebank Avenue in a westerly direction for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Kersiebank Avenue, Abbotsgrange Road, Panstead Street or vice versa.
South Broomage Avenue, Larbert from 07:30 hours on 22/09/25 until 17:00 hours on 26/09/25. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing work to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes South Broomage Avenue from its junction with Carronvale Road in a westerly direction for approximately 230m.
2. The alternative route is: South Broomage Avenue, Main Street (B905), Carronvale Road and vice versa.
Summerford, Falkirk, from 07:30 hours until 17:00 hours 23/09/2025, in order to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes Summerford from its junction with Greenbank Road in an eastward direction for approximately 75m.
2. The alternative route is: No alternative diversion route available - local access to be maintained as far as practically possible.
Begg Avenue, Falkirk from 07.30 hours on 24/09/2025 until 17.00 hours on 26/09/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes Begg Avenue from its junction with Strachan Street to its junction with Summerford Road
2. The alternative route: Begg Avenue, Summerford Road, Windsor Road and Strachan Street and vice versa.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:
High Station Road, Falkirk from 08:00 on 22/09/25 until 18:00 on 23/09/25. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on High Station Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to NISA Store in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
