EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES

(BISHOPBRIGGS RELIEF ROAD AND WESTER LUMLOCH ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS)

(40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) AMENDMENT ORDER 2025

On 16 September 2025 the East Dunbartonshire Council, in accordance with their powers under s84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, made the above order which comes into operation on 03 November 2025. The Order as proposed was advertised in the edition of the Bishopbriggs Herald published on 28 May 2025. The main effect of the Order is the amendment of the East Dunbartonshire Council (B812, Auchinairn Road and Bishopbriggs Relief Road) (30 mph and 40 mph Speed Limits) Order 2003 to amend the length of the Bishopbriggs Relief Road and Wester Lumloch Road to which a 40 mph speed limit applies.

A copy of the order as made together with plan detailing the lengths of road affected are available for inspection without payment of fee on the Traffic Regulation Orders section of the East Dunbartonshire

Any person wishing to question the validity of the

Order or any provision therein on grounds that the

Order is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any relevant Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 16 September 2025, make an application to the Court of Session for this purpose.
