Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

The County of Cornwall (North Street, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. 

This prohibition is necessary for work to clear vegetation from bridge and it is expected that the closure will be on the following dates: 18th October 2025, 25th October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2300 and 0600, weekends included. 

Road affected - North Street, St Austell over full length of bridge. 

An alternative route will be signed on site.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Bowling Green To Higher Menadew, Bugle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

 Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bugle. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th September 2025 to 30th September 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Bowling Green To Higher Menadew, Bugle from junction with Road From Junction West Of Canna Farm To Lower Menadue to junction with Access To Canna. The County of Cornwall (Trekenning Road, St Columb) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Columb. 

This prohibition is necessary for upgrade of WWU infrastucture and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th September 2025 to 17th October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

Road affected - Trekenning Road, St Columb from junction with Newquay Road to junction with Trekenning Point. 

An alternative route will be signed on site.

Cornwall Council 

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Tower Road, Newquay from junction for Fore Street to junction for Sydney Road. 

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Fore Street (Class III) from junction for Tower Road to junction for Alma Place.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works for essential cleansing of SWW sewer pipes are being executed on or near the road. 

The Order will come into operation on 14th October 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 14th October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1700 on a daily basis, weekdays only. 

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Indian Queens. 

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th September 2025 to 3rd October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Chapel Road, Indian Queens from near Gordon House to near property known as Little Orchard.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. 

This prohibition is necessary for drainage repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th September 2025 to 1st October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Ladder Lane, Bodmin from junction with Fletchersbridge Hill to Park Farm.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Blazey. 

This prohibition is necessary for general manhole repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th October 2025 to 15th October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Fore Street, St Blazey from near No 29 to outside No 30. An alternative route will be signed on site.

This prohibition is necessary for safe access to carriageway box and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th September 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - Tower Hill from junction with West Park Road to property known as Raydene, Higher Lane, Wadebridge from No 1 to junction with Tower Hill.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Mevagissey. This prohibition is necessary for works to repair carriageway surface and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th September 2025 to 4th October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included. 

Roads affected - River Street, Valley Road, B3273 From Junction South Of Tregiskey Farm To Valley Road, Mevagissey for their entire lengths.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd October 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - Road From Ruthernbridge To Penmenoth, Road From Crosslane To Old Coach Road, Bodmin between properties Burwyn, Crosslane and Higher Penvercoe.
