Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U63031 Assarts Road, Malvern Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63031 Assarts Rd from its junction with U63035 Assarts Ln to its junction with U63034 Heathlands Cl.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

No access for emergency services, must follow diversion route.

Alternative route: U63035 Assarts Ln, C2221 Upper Welland Rd, U63030 Kings Rd, U63031 Assarts Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 September 2025.

(C2239 Astley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2239 Astley from its junction with U64215 Sandhampton for a distance of 200 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: To provide safe working for overhead fibre cabling work by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2239 Astley (part), B4196 Astley, B4194 Pearl Ln, A451 Dunley Rd, A451 Dunley, C2239 Yarhampton, C2239 Astley (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 September 2025.

(U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) and the Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restriction and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63200 Edith Walk from its junction with A449 Belle Vue Terrace to its junction with U63201 Back Land to temporarily (part) suspend the Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restriction and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 to allow two-way traffic to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the works.

Reason: New customer connection by Bradshaw Property Developments Limited.

Alternative route: B4211 Church St, C3222 Graham Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 15 September 2025.

(U63109 The Lees Malvern) (Footway only), (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of the Footway only on U63109 The Lees from its junction with U63106 Thirlstane Rd for its entire length.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U63106 Thirlstane Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days (24hrs). Commencing: 12 September 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
