What is happening?

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U4416 TYE LANE, BRAMFORD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4416 Tye Lane, Bramford from The Channel for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1113 Loraine Way, Somersham Road, Church Lane, Flowton Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/09/2025 - 17/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE A134 SPRINGLANDS WAY, SUDBURY
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A134 Springlands Way, Sudbury from the A134 Long Melford Bypass, Long Melford to Clermont Avenue Roundabout to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A134, the A131 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/09/2025 - 17/09/2025 from 7pm - 5am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C683 THE HILL, STANSTEAD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C683 The Hill, Stanstead from 60 metres south of St Marys View for 60 metres southbound to facilitate access to an overhead structure for a telecommunication pole test. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Upper Street, Shimpling Road, Stanstead Road, Mill Hill, Little Chadacre, Slough Hill, The Street, Bunkers Hill, Cockfield Road, Shimpling Road, the A134, the A1092, the B1066 and vice versa.
It is intended that this closure will operate on 15/09/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C496 IPSWICH ROAD AND THE C492 NORWICH ROAD, CLAYDON AND BARHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order suspending the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the following roads:
• the C496 Ipswich Road, Claydon
• the C492 Norwich Road, Claydon
• the C492 Norwich Road, Barham from Norwich Road, Claydon to Church Lane, Barham.
This is to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 15/09/2025 - 04/10/2025 from 8pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Gardner Road, Godyll Road, York Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/09/2025 - 17/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Park Road, Ipswich Road, Grundisburgh Road, the road from the C323 to the C324, Playford Mount, Boot Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/09/2025 - 02/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

C694 Rougham Road, Bradfield St George from the junction with Kingshall Street to Bonds Yard
U8014 Kingshall Street, Bradfield St George from the junction with Rougham Road for 270 metres eastbound
U8014 Kingshall Green, Bradfield St George from the junction with Kingshall Street to Broadleas.
This is to facilitate fibre network installations. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

20/10/2025 – 28/10/2025.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/09/2025 – 25/09/2025 from 9am – 5pm, but if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
