(THOROLD ROAD AND GRANGE HILL, CHATHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to gain access to all gullies and drainage for cleansing and repair -

Thorold Road and Grange Hill, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Chatham Hill and the junction with White Horse Hill. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Luton Road, Luton High Street, Capstone Road, Pear Tree Lane, Maidstone Road, in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 22 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 22 September 2025 and are programmed for completion
within 3 days (8.30am–5pm). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(RICHMOND ROAD, GILLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

Richmond Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 22 Richmond Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via James Street, Jeffery Street, Brompton Road and Prince Arthur Road.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 21 October 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 21 October 2025 and are programmed for completion within 4 days.

The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(PORTLAND ROAD, GILLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable manhole frame and cover replacement works to be carried out -

Portland Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Ingram Road for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Elm Road and Grange Road.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 22 October, 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 22 October, 2025 and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(CHURCH STREET, CLIFFE WOODS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable duct overlay works to be carried out -

Church Street, Cliffe Woods - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontages of 165 to 170. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Buttway Lane, West Street, Higham Road, Church Street and return; Cooling Road, Rye Street, Common Lane, Reed Street and return.

This Order will come into force on Saturday, 18 October 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Saturday, 18 October 2025 and are programmed for completion
within 16 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(VARIOUS ROADS, MEDWAY) (COMMUNITY EVENTS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 3)  ORDER 2025 UNDER SECTION 14(1)(B) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC  REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate the construction and removal of structures required for the holding of public community events, or because of the likelihood of danger to the public whilst an event is taking place

Traffic Management - To facilitate the holding of the events mentioned in column (1) of the Table, on the dates and between the times set out in the corresponding columns (2) and (3), the traffic management provisions detailed in the Schedule identified in the corresponding column (4) will apply. These provisions will be in force as indicated in the Schedule below.

Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes for through traffic will be signed locally. Access to premises will be maintained where possible.

This Order will come into force on Saturday, 20 September 2025 and will cease to have effect on Monday, 10 November 2025. The Order will only be effective only when the appropriate signs  are displayed.

Castle Hill from its junction of Esplanade to its junction with Epaul Lane, to include Castle Hill Court – to include suspension of one-way operation to allow resident/event vehicle access. Epaul Lane from its junction of Castle Hill to its junction with Boley Hill – to include suspension of no entry and one-way operation to allow resident/event vehicle access. High Street Rochester from its junction of Corporation Street bus lane to its junction with Star Hill – to include suspension of one-way operation for authorised vehicles only. Almon Place at its point 35m northeast of High Street to its junction with High Street. Bishops Walk - its entire length. Eastgate Court at its junction with High Street. Eastgate Terrace at its junction with High Street. Crow Lane from its junction of High Street to its junction with Vines Lane. Blue Boar Lane from its junction of Blue Boar Lane car park entrance to its junction with High Street. La Providence at its junction with High Street. Railway Street from its junction with High Street to its junction with Ordnance Terrace. Ordnance Terrace from its junction with Railway Street to its junction with Fort Pitt Street. Marlborough Road at its junction with Lock Street to its junction with High Street. High Street Gillingham from its junction with Mill Road to its junction with Canterbury Street/ Skinner St.

A2 High Street Rainham from its junction with Orchard Street to junction with Ivy Street including junction with Station Road.

Schedule SF25-3: Road Closures and Traffic restrictions
Main Gate Road – entire length. Dock Road – no vehicles permitted to right turn southbound at the junction of Main Gate Road.
