SCHEDULE 3 - No waiting from 11am to 3pm, Mondays to Fridays
BURSTOW ROAD, the north-west side, from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 7 and 9 Burstow Road to a point 12 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 54 and 56 Burstow Road.
BURSTOW ROAD, the south-west side, from a point 9 metres north-west of the common boundary of nos. 55 and 57 Burstow Road, south-southwestward for a distance of 15 metres.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(WESTERN ROAD, BOND ROAD AND PORTLAND ROAD, MITCHAM)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate gas works in Western Road to decommission the gas holder station, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would:–
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in:–
(i) Western Road, between its junction with Sadler Close and a point 5 metres north-west of its junction Portland Road (access to and egress from Bond Road would be maintained);
(ii) Portland Close, from its junction with Western Road south-westward for a distance of 10 metres;
(iii) Bond Road, the southern south-west bound lane, from its junction with Western Road, north-eastward for a distance of 8 metres;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph (a)(i) to (iii) above,
3. Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in Western Road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: –
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to the properties adjacent to roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Church Road, Lower Green West London Road and Raleigh Gardens or Upper Green West as applicable.
7.Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into operation on Saturday 27th September 2025 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed on 14th November 2025. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(WEST BARNES LANE, KT3)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 5) ORDER 2025
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate level crossing works at the Motspur Park Level Crossing on West Barnes Lane, KT3, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. Whilst the works take place no person would:–
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane, between a point 55 metres south-west of the Motspur Park level crossing and a point 20 metres north-east of that level crossing;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;
(c) enter or proceed on foot in West Barnes Lane, from a point 20 metres south-west of the Motspur Park Level Crossing and a point 20 metres north-east of the said crossing.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. An alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic would be via West Barnes Lane, Claremont Avenue, Burlington Road and West Barnes Lane, or vice versa.
5. Pedestrians affected by the road closure should proceed using Station Road, the Motspur Park pedestrian bridge (public right of way No. 130) and Claremont Avenue.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply: –
(a) to any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
8. The Order would come into operation at 12.01am on Tuesday 30th September 2025 and remain in force until 5am on Friday 3rd October 2025, with the works taking place each night between the hours of 12.01am and 5am only.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(WHATLEY AVENUE, SW20)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate bridge inspection works in Whatley Avenue, SW20 they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:–
(a) enter or proceed in Whatley Avenue, from its junction with Avalon Close north-eastwards to the main arm of Cannon Hill Lane; or
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Whatley Avenue specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Whatley Avenue specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The no right turn from Botsford Road into Whatley Avenue would be suspended for the duration of the works.
5. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Cannon Hill Lane, Kingston Road, Bushey Road and Botsford Road or Martin Way, or vice-versa.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: –
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order would come into operation at 10pm on Wednesday 1 October 2025 with the works expected to be completed by 6am on Thursday 2 October 2025. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

(WESTERN ROAD AND HEYFORD ROAD, MITCHAM)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Western Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road and in Heyford Road.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:
(a) Western Road, both sides, between its junction with Lewis Road and a point 4 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 93 and 95 Western Road;
(b) Heyford Road, both sides, between its junction with Western Road and the south-western boundary of No. 1 Heyford Road.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in Western Road.
